Hayley Orrantia, the American singer-songwriter and actress. Most people know her as Erica Goldberg, from the TV show, 'The Goldenbergs. But, she is to be primarily as a musician. Music has always been her first obsession. She began training in the field of music professionally at 12. In 2013, she took up songwriting and recorded her first album. Since then there has been never a moment to rest. Orrantia is of Hispanic origins, but was born in the USA. She has Hispanic roots even though she only spoke English as a child and lived her life in the United States. To preserve her heritage, she's learned Spanish and created songs in that language. One of her attempts was an original Spanish song called 'Hasta Verte.' The summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the first Season of The X Factor. The Orrantia's YouTube video was selected and she was awarded four "yeses" which is a vote, from the judges at The Seattle audition. Her initial audition was performing as a solo artist, however after "Hollywood Week" the three female performers were put in an ensemble to go through the auditions. The group was eliminated from the show during the fifth week of live performances.
