Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer, and actress, best known for her role as Ginger Grant in the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. Her stage career began during the 1950s in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. After that, she performed in a variety of Broadway productions before she became the most famous on stage together with Li'l Abner, in the year 1957. In 1957, she also made her debut album entitled It's time for Tina. Her first appearance in Hollywood was as Griselda In God's Little Acre, a 1958 film. It received wide applause. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. In the course of this film, she was began her studies at Actors Studio in New York and began a relationship with Lee Strasberg as his student. In 1964, she won her next notable role when CBS contracted her to play Ginger Grant. Louise was able to do a fantastic task of switching between Broadway and Hollywood. She played somber as well as contrasting characters from the glamour doll image she was portrayed as. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 and as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although during the last couple of years she also has made an impact as a highly successful director of various well-known television shows like Supernatural or The 100. Born in Essex Ontario, on the 29th of August in 1965 her family relocated to Toronto at the age of three. She spent the majority of her youth there before moving to Toronto for her adolescence. Then she settled in Vancouver after being selected for the role of Samantha Carter.
