Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been an actor, model and advocate for animal rights in the United States. Ali MacGraw is famous for films such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. The desire to become an artist was in part influenced by her family background in a New York family of artists. At first she was employed as an assistant in photography. Then her work changed towards modeling and directing. The actress was awarded the Golden Globe Award in 1990 because she was a promising actress. MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned fame to the world and also as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. Within just three short films she was the highest-rated female box-office star worldwide. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater recorded her signature with handprints, foot prints and handprints in the year 1972. In addition to The Getaway Convoy Players she also starred in the television series The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography was published. MacGraw has been married 3 times.
